Deck the halls! The holiday kicked into high gear Wednesday night (November 30) when New York's massive Christmas tree was lit during "Christmas in Rockefeller Center." Plenty of A-listers were on hand, including Justin Bieber, who premiered his highly anticipated video for "All I Want for Christmas Is You," featuring Mariah Carey.

Before the strings of lights were illuminated, performances from Michael Bublé, Katharine McPhee, Big Time Rush, Tony Bennett, Carole King and Neil Diamond warmed viewers up. But Bieber was the headline act of the night, giving fans some big performances and an even bigger video premiere.

Bieber amped up the energy with his hip-hop-ified take on the Christmas classic "Little Drummer Boy," which included him spitting a holiday-themed rhyme. Decked in all black, the teen star had the crowd screaming. He was even joined by Busta Rhymes, who appears on the Under the Mistletoe cut.

JB then slowed things down with "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)," leaving his female fans swooning as he crooned the holiday standard. He was joined by his mentor Usher for the track.

"God bless and Merry Christmas," Bieber told the crowd before tossing to the "All I Want for Christmas Is You" video. The clip features Mariah Carey dressed in a sexy Santa Claus outfit standing in a department store as she dances around singing the track, almost as if she's on display for holiday shoppers. It also sees Bieber and his pals shopping for some choice holiday gifts like high-top kicks.

In between performance shots of Bieber and Mariah, a street-corner Santa Claus hands out envelopes to shoppers on the street, teasing an inevitable yuletide party scene. The shoppers are then welcomed into the department store, where Justin and Mariah hand out gifts to everyone. The duo tease and flirt with each other as everyone around them unwraps their gifts.

Bieber and Carey re-recorded her classic holiday tune for his chart-topping holiday album, which also features appearances from the Band Perry and Boyz II Men. They filmed the video earlier this month, just in time for the holiday season.

Did Bieber get you in the holiday spirit? Let us know in the comments!

How does Lady Gaga feel about making the short list for the Best Original Song race at the Oscars? Well, she's pretty excited.

"Just heard my duet 'Hello, Hello' with Elton [John] is up for nomination at the Oscars! 'Gnomeo & Juliet' is such a beautiful film," she wrote on Twitter. "I'm so happy!!"

On Monday, it was announced that the Gaga/Elton duet is one of the 39 tracks vying for a nomination. will.i.am's "Rio" track, "Hot Wings," Mary J. Blige's "The Living Proof" from "The Help," and Zooey Deschanel's "Winnie the Pooh" track, "So Long," along with multiple tracks from "The Muppets," are also in the running. The final nominations will be announced January 24, and the awards show is slated to take place February 26 at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles.

Gaga is celebrating her latest achievement in Japan, where she will spend the holidays. "Well, I'll be in Japan right up until Christmas Day," she recently told MTV News. "So I'll be eating with all my Japanese Little Monsters. I like shabu shabu [a type of Japanese hotpot]."

Since touching down, Mother Monster has been keeping her fans up-to-date on what she's been up to on Twitter. "Sipping tea in Japan with Haus. Feeling so grateful," she wrote. "We sold about 1 million albums a month worldwide since the release of BORN THIS WAY."

The busy holiday season caps off an even busier year for Lady Gaga, who happened to be MTV News' Top Newsmaker of 2011. She tirelessly released singles, videos, personas and a chart-topping album (Born This Way) and scooped up awards at seemingly every show from the Grammys to the VMAs. She was also #5 on our list of Best Artists of 2011, and her disco empowerment track "Born This Way" snagged the #5 spot on the Best Songs of 2011 list as well.

On November 1, Justin Bieber will take his fans

id="1672827">Under the Mistletoe

on his holiday album. But he's giving them an early treat by releasing his Usher duet, "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)," on Monday (October 24).

The song dropped on Ryan Seacrest's radio show. Its vibe is reminiscent of '90s R&B tracks, and it sounds a lot like it could have been recorded by Boyz II Men, who also appear on the album.

The Christmas classic is all about the little joys of the holiday season, including the family get-togethers, the food and Santa bringing presents to children. The song, one of the classics that appears on the album, hits iTunes on Monday. Bieber and Usher previously appeared together on "Somebody to Love" off My World 2.0.

"Justin and I did the classic record 'Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire.' This record is going to be remembered for years to come," Usher told Seacrest on Monday morning. "It's a record that has always been one of my favorites, and I'm happy that I was able to share it with Justin, and for us to put it out. The album is full of surprises.

Justin's Under the Mistletoe is going to be incredible!"

In the lead-up to the release, Bieber released some behind-the-scenes footage of his mentor and him in the studio working on the song. He also shared that he had another surprise in store for his fans. Just one week after dropping the video for "Mistletoe," he tweeted, "Up early to shoot another video for #UNDERTHEMISTLETOE #Nov1st but something else is out this morning...."

In addition to Usher, Under the Mistletoe will also feature appearances from the Band Perry, Busta Rhymes, Boyz II Men and Mariah Carey, who re-recorded her classic "All I Want for Christmas" for the album.

ohland1 Concert Picks: Oh Land, Seranades, Her Space Holiday...

?Tis the season to be giving, sharing, laughing and caring ? and we?ve got all that and more in our choice of concert picks. Not that this really differs from any other time, really; it?s just got that extra special holiday shine/warm fuzzy feeling that only a ticket could buy. Or something. Anyway, if only to further the holly jolly factor, we are all for you red-nosing our picks for you this weekend. Check them out below?

  • Oh Land | Friday, December 16 | 8:00 pm | All Ages | $17 | El Rey Theatre, Los Angeles, CA ? Map | Oh Land, aka Nanna Øland Fabricius, Danish Jill of all trades, has been on our (and likely everyone else?s radar) for the better part of the year. Her latest album, self-titled, is a veritable pop paradise, but doesn?t leave us covered in too-sticky sweet and loathing ourselves the next morning. She seems to understand the importance of a strong foundation of good songwriting, which is and will keep her propped up in the industry for years to come. Seriously, anyone would be a fool to suggest otherwise.  With K. Flay ? Buy Tickets
  • Seranades | Friday, December 16 | 10:30 pm | 21+ | $10 | Mercury Lounge, New York, NY ? Map | There?s something awesome about duos that can do most everything with four hands instead of the ?usual? ?band-approved? eight hands. What can we say; fabulousness comes in many forms, one of them being Seranades. The Stockholm, Sweden-based twosome makes their stateside debut with the Come Home EP features a hybrid of electronic elements and ambient undertones without the blatant shock and volt factor. Subtlety reigns supreme with the pair, a trait necessary for lasting and effective songwriting ? something they already seem to be well aware of. With Parlovr ? Buy Tickets
  • Defeatist | Saturday, December 17 | 8:00 pm | All Ages | $7 | Death By Audio, Brooklyn, NY ? Map | Funny, they don?t sound at all accepting of failure to us at all? at all.  With their rolling rhythms, bold vocalizations, and we would pin them something completely different. Whatever the resulting affect, the New York-based grindcore band is sure to have your blood pumping extra speical hard for one reason or another. Their latest album, Tyrrany of Decay, was released this past September. With Triac, Psychic Limb, Disciples of Christ, Backslider.
  • DIR EN GREY | Sunday, December 18 | 6:30 pm | $29.50 in advance, $32 day of show |  House of Blues, Chicago, IL ? Map | Another long-standing band, Japanese metal rock group DIR EN GREY has been on the scene for over fourteen years, with the same members, a diverse sound, and eight albums to show for it. Their latest, Dum Spiro Spero, was released this past August, and we just appreciate that out of all the venues, cities, and countries around the world that the multi-faceted band has toured recently, they?ve decided to drop in on us. With The Birthday Massacre ? Buy Tickets
  • Her Space Holiday | Saturday, December 17 | 8:30 pm | 21+ | $12 | The Satellite, Los Angeles, CA ? Map | Aka Marc Bianchi, the indietronic genius is playing a series of final shows on the Final Tour as Her Space Holiday ? a bittersweet time for long time fans from 1996 onward. And yet, a chance for one to say they were there during the final moments of quite likely the most influential, hardworking indie rock musicians and remixers of the era. Gotta hand it to the relatively one-man show who knows the value of a good band, good sound, and fan appreciation. Cheers to whatever follows. With Silver Swans, City Light ? Buy Tickets

Those are our picks and we?re sticking to ?em. Who?s on your To See List this weekend?

Madonna Fan Arrested For 'Gimme All Your Luvin' Leak

Recordings of the new song, featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., found in 31-year-old's belongings after leak was traced to Spain, police say.

Just over a month after a demo of Madonna's "Gimme All Your Luvin" was leaked online, police have arrested a 31-year-old fan. After the icon's lawyers traced the leak to Spain, the man, whose full name has not been released, was arrested in the northern city of Zaragoza. Police, who have only confirmed the suspect's initials as J.M.R., describe the man as "a big Madonna fan" and say they found recordings of the song in his belongings.

The track, which features Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., was leaked without M.I.A.'s vocals. When it surfaced in early November, Madonna's longtime manager Guy Oseary voiced his displeasure via Twitter, writing, "The plan was for new music to come out in the new year. I'm very happy with the positive reaction to the demo, but we are very upset with whoever leaked the song! We are asking that the fans please help us police any more leaks. We have a lot in store for you. But please respect the process." An unhappy Madge also weighed in, via Oseary, saying, "My true fans wouldn't do this. Whoever is responsible for this leak, we ask that you please stop!"

Earlier this month, both Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. tweeted saucy details from the set of the video shoot for the song. Minaj gushed about kissing Madonna, while M.I.A. teased that they had a "3sum."

No word on when the video will be released, but Madonna's upcoming as-yet-untitled new album is expected to drop in the spring of 2012. It will feature production from Ray of Light producer William Orbit. Madonna is also slated to perform at the Super Bowl in February, which coincides with the release of her film "W.E."

Do you agree with Madonna that "true fans" wouldn't leak the song? Share your thoughts below!

Miley Cyrus Movie Opening Delayed Due to Scandal, Lack of Funds

Whether or not Miley Cyrus was joking about her affection for marijuana, the star's recent scandal has had a negative impact on her big screen career.

Sources confirm that Miley's next movie - the comedy LOL, which also stars Demi Moore and Ashley Greene - was scheduled for an international release in either late 2011 or early 2012. However, that opening has now been scrapped in large part due to last-minute editing out of a scene in which Miley's character smokes cigarettes with her friends.

Producers are hoping to avoid any and all controversy related to this topic.

LOL Movie Poster

So, when might LOL hit American theaters? That is also uncertain, as Lionsgate is facing significant financial problems.

The studio simply can't afford to market the film and is reportedly hoping to make enough bank on The Hunger Games - which, ironically, stars Miley's boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth - this spring to then turn its efforts back over to Cyrus and company.

LOL is based a remake of a French hit and centers on Lola (Cyrus) and her teenage pals, as they navigate the world of high school romance and friendship.

It will certainly be a merry Christmas for all of Lady Gaga's Little Monsters. Mother Monster herself will play Santa to all her fans when she presents them with an unreleased song on Christmas Day.

"Been racking my brain on what to get Little Monsters for Christmas!! I finally figured it out!!" Gaga tweeted on Thursday (December 22). "On Christmas Day I will leak to you an unreleased Song off Born This Way! It was recorded live, in one take, on the tour bus. Uncensored."

Gaga is currently in Japan, where she will be spending the holiday. "Well, I'll be in Japan right up until Christmas Day," Gaga told MTV News earlier this month. "So I'll be eating with all my Japanese Little Monsters. I like shabu shabu [a form of Japanese hot pot]."

On Tuesday, Gaga tweeted, "Sipping tea in Japan with Haus. Feeling so grateful. We sold about 1 million albums a month worldwide since the release of BORN THIS WAY."

That's not the only thing Gaga has to celebrate. She revealed via Twitter that she is "so happy" that "Hello, Hello," her duet with Elton John, is one of 39 tracks on the short list for a possible Oscar nomination in the Best Original Song category.

Lady Gaga, who was MTV News' Top Newsmaker of 2011, will be ringing in the new year in her hometown of New York. The "Marry the Night" singer, along with Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, LMFAO and Florence and the Machine, will watch the ball drop at the 40th annual "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve." The event will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest, with appearances by Fergie and Jenny McCarthy.
