The Teen Choice Awards returned on Sunday (August 7) to hand out brightly colored surfboards for everything from best summer jam to favorite on-screen kiss. Introduced by the ladies of the Kardashian clan, the evening's DJ, Black Eyed Peas impresario will.i.am, kicked off the show in a dark coat and his signature angular hair helmet to drop a fist-pumping jam. Teen Choice host and "Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco hit the stage with a high-energy opening monologue in high-shine skinny trousers, getting all up close and personal with some of the "typical" teens in the audience, like MTV's "Teen Wolf" heartthrob Tyler Posey.

Decked out in appropriately scruffy beachside chic, Ashton Kutcher nabbed the first surfboard of the night for Choice Movie Actor, Romantic Comedy, for his bedroom-buddy rom-com, "No Strings Attached." After insisting teens skip credit card drama by only charging things they can afford — a dig at the nation's credit drama — the newly minted "Two and a Half Men" star led the crowd through an a cappella sing-along of Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream." When funnywoman Ellen DeGeneres scored the Choice Comedian award directly after Kutcher, she jokingly pretended to croon "Stairway to Heaven," after reassuring young people that it's "never too late" to be a teen choice.

Check out the hottest of young Hollywood on the Teen Choice 2011 red carpet.

Other winners included were closer to the Teen Choice demographic, including "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" hunk Taylor Lautner for Choice Movie Actor Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Blake Lively for Choice TV Actress Drama and Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene for Choice Movie Scene Stealers, who both snagged the award for the second consecutive year.

With five Choice surfboards under her belt, Selena Gomez and her band the Scene worked her Choice Love Song-winning hit "Love You Like a Love Song." Rocking a leg-baring gown, the "Wizards of Waverly Place" actress added some throwback glam to her look with a veiled headpiece as she belted the breakout ballad. Gomez' superstar boyfriend, Justin Bieber, and fellow Disney alumna Demi Lovato enthusiastically bopped along in the audience.

Ed Helms took home the surfboard for Choice Hissy Fit for reprising his role as a hilariously frazzled pal in "The Hangover 2." "The Office" actor thanked kids for buying a ticket for "Kung Fu Panda 2" and sneaking into the Thailand-based raunch-fest instead.

The cast of "Glee" racked up a bunch of wins, including Choice TV Comedy, Choice TV Actor Comedy for Cory Monteith and Choice TV Breakout Star for Darren Criss. After the boatload of wins, the stars introduced a clip of "Glee 3D: The Concert Movie," which hits theaters on Friday. Choice TV Reality Show went to "Jersey Shore" and the show's well-coiffed ladies' man DJ Pauly D scored Choice Male Reality Star.

Hollywood It girl Emma Stone presented Taylor Swift with the board for Ultimate Choice, rattling off a list of the country superstar's teenage accomplishments, from landing publishing and record deals to notching #1 hits. Following a behind-the-scenes look at her adventures on the road and heartfelt Twitter missives from fans giving snaps to her style and role-model status, the 21-year-old music sweetheart noted it's been a whole "two years" since she was a teen, and she encouraged fans not to lose their youthful passion. It was an eventful night for the TCA newbie, as she scored five other awards, including Choice Female Artist.

Jason Derülo lit up the stage with his Robin S.-sampling single "Don't Wanna Go Home." Sporting a leather jacket and slim trousers, the pop hitmaker punctuated his Future History lead single with slick pop-locking and athletic handstands.

The night brought some inspirational moments as well. Demi Lovato received the Acuvue Inspire Award for passing up the limelight to tackle personal demons head on and launching the Love is Louder Than the Pressure to Be Perfect movement to help troubled young people. Rocking a lemon-hued gown, the starlet took the stage to a standing ovation and credited fans for her recovery, insisting, "You guys are what got me through, I love you so much."

Sean Kingston also scored a standing ovation when he made his first awards show appearance since his life-threatening accident earlier this year, looking healthy and happy. The "Fire Burning" chart-topper then presented the Choice Male Artist award to fellow pop pal Justin Bieber. The teen megastar — who also nabbed a slew of awards like Choice Male Hottie and Choice TV Villain — kept up the evening's positive vibe, reflecting on his rise from typical Canadian teen to game-changing pop sensation, reminding the audience that "anything is possible." Fellow heartbreaker Robert Pattinson used his acceptance speech for Choice Vampire to raise awareness about blood cancers in conjunction with the Cancer Bites campaign (Pattinson also won the Choice Movie Actor Drama prize for "Water for Elephants").

The evening wrapped up with a tribute to the record-setting "Harry Potter" film franchise, with the final film of the series picking up honors such as Choice Summer Movie. Rupert Grint told fans that being a part of the "Potter" juggernaut "changed our lives," and Choice Movie Villain Tom Felton thanked fans "for making the journey with us." Even though he was tied up on Broadway performing in "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," Choice Summer Movie Star winner Daniel Radcliffe accepted his surfboard via satellite from New York, and thanked his legions of fans for a "fantastic" 10 years.

Britney Spears Drops Official 'Till The World Ends' Remix

New track with Nicki Minaj, Ke$ha follows leaked version, plus Brit tweets single's cover art.

Just days after it was leaked on Friday, Britney Spears and her femme fatales, Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha, dropped their official remix of "Till the World Ends."

The new version of the song was produced by Dr. Luke and Dream Machine. Brit half-whispers " 'Till the World Ends' remix" before the beat kicks in and Nicki hits her verse hard. She spits fierce lines like, "Sniff, sniff, cries/ I done slayed your whole entire f---ing life."

Then Britney's sex-kitten vocals kick in for the song's first verse. "That's Britney, bitch! I'm Nicki Minaj and that's Ke$ha," the Queens MC declares before K sings the chorus. The beat is harder, the loops are sassier and the song is grimier than the original version, which was the second single from Femme Fatale. The newly added dubstep portion takes the one from "Hold It Against Me" to a new level by adding in bass-heavy synths.

Ke$ha, of course, wrote the track for Britney, and the ladies certainly don't seem to mind sharing the spotlight with each other. The official track isn't much different than the version that leaked over the weekend, though Spears did have something brand-new to share with her fans just as the song dropped on iTunes and streamed on her website.

Spears tweeted the artwork for the single, which features the original press photo of Spears along with separate photos of Nicki on the left and Ke$ha on the right. Spears wrote, "@NickiMinaj @Keshasuxx Too much fierceness for one cover! Thanks for lending your voices girls... #TTWEREMIX — Brit"

Spears and Minaj have been hanging out a lot in the lead-up to their summer tour. They hung out at the Factory nightclub on Friday night after Minaj's show in Los Angeles. Spears later wrote, "Early rehearsal after a late night with my girl @NickiMinaj. Can't WAIT to get out on the road with you."

Blake Shelton, Incubus Take Over Billboard Chart

Blake Shelton was already a beloved country star before he became a reality-TV double-threat. But thanks in part to his breakout role on "The Voice," Miranda Lambert's better half is reaping plenty of benefits, including a #1 debut on the Billboard 200 charts next week for his new album, Red River Blue.

According to figures provided by SoundScan, Shelton's sixth studio album, his first #1 debut ever and highest-charting album to date, sold 116,000 copies last week. Just behind was the first album in five years from floaty rockers Incubus with If Not Now, When, which debuts at #2 on sales of 80,000. They lead a parade of new faces in the top 10 that also includes country singer Chris Young, whose Neon hit #4 in its first week (73,000), pop smoothie Colbie Caillat's All of You (#6, 66,000), head-bangers Theory of a Deadman's Truth Is (#8, 38,000) and the debut from the rebooted Sublime with new singer Rome, Yours Truly (#9, 35,000).

The rest of the top 10: Adele's 21 (#3, 77,000), Beyoncé's 4 (#5, 72,000), Jason Aldean's My Kinda Party (#7, 42,000) and Selena Gomez and the Scene's When the Sun Goes Down (#10, 33,000).

A couple of former top 10 dwellers fall to the second rung, including Eminem's Hell: The Sequel project under the Bad Meets Evil banner (#11, 30,000), Lady Gaga's Born This Way (down five to #13, 25,000) and Jill Scott's Light of the Sun (#14, 21,000).

The soundtrack to "Harry Potter: Deathly Hallows, Part 2" comes in at #25, while indie darlings Washed Out crash in at #26 with the excellent Within & Without (#26, 15,000). And it was a short trip to the top 10 for R&B crooner Lloyd, who plummets 39 spots to #49 in the second week for King of Hearts (9,000).

Over on the iTunes chart Caillat sits atop the album tally, followed by Shelton, Incubus, Adele, Sublime, Chris Young, Theory of a Deadman, Beyoncé, Bad Meets Evil and the unstoppable Mumford & Sons' Sigh No More.

LMFAO continue to rule the iTunes singles chart with their summer hit "Party Rock Anthem," which beats out Demi Lovato's "Skyscraper," Katy Perry's "Last Friday (T.G.I.F.)," Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" and Hot Chelle Rae's "Tonight Tonight." Rounding out the top 10 at #6 are Lil Wayne's "How to Love," Pitbull's "Give Me Everything," Adele's "Rolling in the Deep," OneRepublic's "Good Life" and Aldean's "Dirt Road Anthem."

Things should be fairly static next week, with the only new titles including a new Kidz Bop Kids title and albums from 311, 3 Doors Down and DJ Khaled.

Beyonce Shares Her Love For Frank Ocean, Kanye West

B shares how Jay-Z and his collaborators influenced her chart-topping 4.

Beyoncé has said that she was "inspired by every type of genre" of music while making 4. But in a recent interview, she spoke in detail about how husband Jay-Z and other hip-hop artists became sonic touchstones while she recorded her fourth solo album.

"Jay had a CD playing in the car one Sunday when we were driving to Brooklyn," she tells Complex about hearing Odd Future's Frank Ocean, who co-wrote the 4 track "I Miss You." "I noticed his tone, his arrangements, and his storytelling. I immediately reached out to him — literally the next morning. I asked him to fly to New York and work on my record."

She also chose to work with Kanye West (who eventually produced "Party") after she heard "Runaway," which she admits, made her cry. "The fact that he's belting out his pain, his confusion, and his anger, with no pre-written lyrics, was so moving," she explained of her husband's frequent collaborator. "He's singing his heart out for five minutes. He is so vulnerable. I love when an artist can be so honest."

Of course, B acknowledged the direct influence of Jay's own work too. "Jay's music is more than music. His lyrics have fathered generations," she told the magazine. "All that he has overcome gives millions so much hope. There are moments when I see his lips moving, and I can see lyrics floating above his head, and I think, 'Wow! How did I get so lucky to be able to witness this level of genius so closely?' "

Beyoncé released her album in a season dominated by strong female voices, but she doesn't want any part in conversations that pit her against other divas.

"There is room on this earth for many queens," she said. "I have an authentic, God-given talent, drive and longevity that will always separate me from everyone else. I've been fortunate to accomplish things that the younger generation of queens dream of accomplishing. I have no desire for anyone else's throne. I am very comfortable in the throne I've been building for the past 15 years.

"I just want my legacy to be great music," she later added. "Someone who was a risk taker and someone who had songs that struck conversation and emotion."
