Elizabeth Olsen Visits the "Today" Show

Making a name for herself all on her own, Elizabeth Olsen paid a visit to the ?Today? show in New York City on Wednesday (October 19).

The younger sister to famous ?Full House? twins Mary Kate and Ashley was spotted departing Rockefeller Plaza after her sit down with hosts Savannah Guthrie and Al Roker.

During the interview, Olsen promoted her latest flick ?Martha Marcy May Marlene,? which revolves around a character who is suffering from delusions and paranoia after returning to her family from an abusive cult.

Of being chosen for the role, Olsen explained, ?It was more exciting because I feel like you don?t get to cease those opportunities too much as a young new actress so I got very lucky that the director wanted an unknown actress for the part.?

The Hills -- Staffer Sues, Alleges Sexual Misconduct, Rampant Drug Use

Filed under: Celebrity Justice, The Hills, Exclusive

1018_hills_EX_01
A production coordinator for "The Hills" claims she was unmercifully harassed sexually by a male staffer during the filming of the Costa Rica episode, and even "pressured" to smoke pot ... this according to a new lawsuit.

In the suit, obtained by TMZ, Eliza Sproul alleges Andres (she doesn't give a last name) -- a Costa Rican local -- was hired by MTV to do grunt work.  She says while they were driving together in 2010, she realized something was up when he took his shirt off and began making sexual advances, including comments such as, "I love your freckles.  I like your eyes.  Let's just take off."

A while later, Eliza says Andres drove her into the forest and "pressured" her to smoke marijuana.  We hate it when that happens.

Eliza has lots of other gripes, including:

-- She had to drive male cast members to a shoot and they were drunk and made crude and offensive jokes
-- She was forced to work insanely long hours
-- She had a meltdown and was abandoned in a hospital.
-- It got so bad doctors gave her Valium.

Sounds like a great trip to Costa Rica.

A rep for MTV declined to comment.

Beyonce Flaunts Baby Bump In 'Countdown' Video

New clip, released Thursday (October 6), references iconic dance films.
By John Mitchell

Beyoncé has an affinity for recalling the past in her videos — from the "Mexican Breakfast" Bob Fosse/Gwen Verdon routine that inspired the "Single Ladies" video to her tortured '50s homemaker character in "Why Don't You Love Me" — and her latest clip for the horn-heavy "Countdown" jam is no exception.

The video is a feast for the eyes, with Beyoncé taking on a variety of iconic looks. Her makeup when the video opens recalls the mod styling of Twiggy, but soon enough, she segues into full-on Audrey Hepburn mode, taking both her look and dance cues from the 1957 film "Funny Face."

From there, we see the pop star in a variety of bold, brightly colored bathing suits and a black-and-white hat, set against a constantly changing background of vivid colors. It's an iconic image that brings to mind the classic Vogue photo shoots of yesteryear.

Find out what the "Countdown" director had to say about B's video shoot!

The pregnant diva's baby bump is less visible in the bathing suit scenes but is featured prominently earlier in the clip and is rubbed lovingly later in a scene that features 10 different incarnations of Beyoncé in a loft space. The visibility of Beyoncé's pregnancy varies throughout the video, indicating she likely shot a great deal of the footage for "Countdown" earlier in her pregnancy and more recently re-shot or re-conceptualized the clip to reflect her growing belly.

Viewers also see that even pregnancy can't stop Beyoncé from dancing. The clip cuts quickly from the bathing suit sequence to shots of the star in an audition space straight out of the film "Fame." The sequence features the kind of seamlessly choreographed moves that Beyoncé is famous for — moves that would be at home in an early-'80s dance film or onstage in 2011.

It's a perfect mix of classic and modern, which seems to be what Beyoncé is aiming for in this era of her career. It's a feeling reflected in the smooth, '90s vibe and reliance on live instruments that sets her album 4 apart from her previous work as well as other artists on the charts right now.

Breaking Down "Countdown," Look By Look

The "Countdown" clip is loaded with other references as well, including a wink to "West Side Story" as dancers snap in unison and a nod to Bridget Bardot when the video cuts to and from shots of Beyoncé in a men's dress shirt with her hair styled up with a scarf.

Check out what we spotted, and let us know what we missed!

She also briefly references her film "Dreamgirls" — or, more likely, that film's inspiration: Diana Ross — during a few brief scenes in which she rocks a short, sparkly dress and bob hairstyle.

The clip then sequences from "Fame" to "Flashdance," with Beyoncé and her dancers in another open warehouse-like space sporting the iconic off-the-shoulder look from the 1983 drama starring Jennifer Beals.

The video ends with the superstar in a chair, grooving to her uptempo track. Throughout the clip, which bubbles with excitement, she is all smiles, perhaps reflecting her joy at beginning a new phase in her life.

Lady Gaga, Bono, Usher To Headline Bill Clinton Foundation Fundraiser

October 15 show will be streamed live over the Internet.

Even a dozen years removed from the White House, former president Bill Clinton still has that same superstar-attracting aura. That might explain why such bright lights as Lady Gaga, Bono and The Edge of U2, and Usher have signed on to perform at an October 15 party for Clinton at the Hollywood Bowl.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, details on the final list of performers and presenters are still being worked on, but an impressive list of movie and TV personalities are expected to sign on for the event, which is being billed as a celebration of the 10-year anniversary of Clinton's nonprofit William J. Clinton Foundation.

To date, the foundation has raised more than $10 billion for some of the ex-president's most cherished causes, including HIV/AIDS treatment, economic empowerment, food aid and global health initiatives. The show, which will also serve as a birthday party celebration for the former Democratic leader (who turned 65 on August 19), will be broadcast exclusively by Yahoo, which will stream "A Decade of Difference: A Concert Celebrating 10 Years of the William J. Clinton Foundation" worldwide to a potential audience of millions.

Clinton continues to travel the world doing good works, though he turned his attention homeward over the weekend when he participated in the 10th anniversary ceremonies of the September 11 terror attacks. He announced on Sunday that he will team with Republican House Speaker John Boehner in a bipartisan effort to raise the final $10 million needed to complete the Fight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

Mark Ballas -- The Shirtless, Sweaty Warrior Workout

Filed under: Mark Ballas, Dancing with the Stars, Exclusive, Hot Bodies

011911_ballas_v2_still

Mark Ballas may be a dancing machine by night -- but he's also a sweaty, half-naked ass-kicking machine by day ... and TMZ has the video to prove it.

We caught the "Dancing with the Stars" pro kicking, punching, and kneeing the crap out of his trainer at True Warrior Fitness in L.A. yesterday -- and we gotta say ... it's pretty impressive.

After the session, Mark said his trainer told him, "If you can dance, you can fight."

Apparently, Shia LaBeouf is not a very good dancer.
