Shayne Lamas Welcomes Daughter! Named Press!

Shayne Lamas and husband Nik Richie welcomed their first child, a daughter named Press, at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Newport Beach, Calif.

"I feel blessed today. Press Dahl Lamas-Richie is the coolest baby in the history of female kind," Nik, who owns The Dirty (dot) com, says of his offspring.

"She doesn't even cry and she has the prettiest eyelashes."

Richie admits that he and Lamas were planning to welcome their baby on 11/11/11, but that nature almost got in the way, as Lamas went into labor Thursday.

"The delivery was intense," he says. "Shayne was in labor for over 10 hours. Contractions were a total nightmare." But happily, everything is just great now.

"Shayne is glowing and I am truly proud of her," gushes the new family man.

So are we. To think how far our girl has come since we first got to know her. Congrats to Shayne Lamas, the former Bachelor winner, and her hubby Nik.

Oh, and Press is seeking representation if you know any L.A. agents. Really.

Ke$ha, Adam Lambert, Ne-Yo Have A Few Royal Wedding Gift Ideas

From 'guyliner' to American delicacies like Uncrustables, Kathy Griffin, Mike Posner and more tell us what they'd get Will and Kate.

What kind of wedding gift do you give the royal couple who has everything?

The wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton is on Friday (April 29), so MTV News reached out to some of our favorite Hollywood celebrities — from Ke$ha to Adam Lambert. Fortunately, they had some solid ideas!

"I haven't met them, so it would be kind of awkward," the "Tik Tok" singer admitted to MTV News. "I might paint them something. Maybe I'll paint them a guitar."

Like Ke$ha, other celebs had suggestions that were from the heart, even if they weren't the most practical.

"I will go out on a limb and say these two individuals maybe haven't had Uncrustables before in their life. I would get them a strawberry Uncrustable," Mike Posner said about the pastry.

David Cook followed up on the all-American food idea. "I feel like they have everything except maybe they probably don't have an Applebee's gift card. I'll go [with an] Applebee's gift card," the "American Idol" alum said.

Other stars said they'd gift the British prince and soon-to-be-princess with an item they were personally best known for.

"I'd probably buy William some eyeliner," Lambert said. "He could do that, he could rock that look. I think."

Ne-Yo was more empathetic, saying he would give gifts that could help shield them from photographers and blend in with everyday people. "Three years' supply of sunglasses. Yeah, put them on. A bunch of baseball caps, throw those on, and try to move around like regular people," the singer said. "I can't imagine what it would be like having to live under that big of a magnifying glass your whole life ... and fake mustaches, that's what I'd give them."

Brooke Burke went the more traditional route, saying she would get Will and Kate a journal to record the big event. "I would ask them to really take the time to write down thoughts and phrases and wishes," Burke said. "And not really to lose sight of how they feel about each other now and to really hold on to that feeling."

Kathy Griffin had good intentions but the comedian couldn't resist a puke joke.

"If I had to get the royal couple a gift, I would get them the Royal Couple Vomit Bag, which someone sent me a photo of," Griffin told us. "So you can actually buy vomit bags with their image on it, and I think that that is an honor and I hope that they see it as such."

Katy Perry Would 'Love To Have Children' With Russell Brand

'If it doesn't hurt the first time, I'll keep popping them out,' singer tells Ellen DeGeneres.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary last month, and now Perry is talking about starting a family ... eventually.

During her appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," which airs Friday (November 11), Perry was asked whether she and Brand have been making baby plans (you know, when she's not out on her unending California Dreams Tour), and she answered that yes, they've discussed it, but that's about as far as things have gone.

"I would love to have children. I think that's one of the reasons you get married, and especially to the person that you marry. You think, Hmmm, that person is going to be a good partner, a good parent," Perry told DeGeneres. "But I'm not sure it's yet. We'll see, you know?"

DeGeneres asked whether Perry wanted to have more than one baby, to which the singer replied, "If it doesn't hurt the first time, I'll keep popping them out."

"Word around town is it hurts," DeGeneres joked. "But people keep doing it anyway — they don't care."

Perry also talked about how she and Brand manage their busy schedules, saying they have a self-imposed two-week limit on time apart. "I saw him yesterday," she said. "[It had been] two weeks, that's the longest we ever go. Anything longer than that is not fun."

The couple were married on October 23, 2010, in a "private and spiritual ceremony" in India, one that not surprisingly received more than its fair share of tabloid coverage. A few weeks after the wedding, Perry told MTV News that she found all the rumors and speculation to be quite amusing, and added that she was "too busy getting married" to keep up with all the coverage.

"I don't mind my wedding has turned into kind of a myth. It's kind of cool," she said. "We kept it kind of private, so when we heard some of the things that were going around we were like, 'Ah, that's hilarious."

J. Cole's Rap Name Was 'Therapist,' On 'When I Was 17'

'A few years later, I realized Therapist sounded like a wrestler's name,' Roc Nation rapper recalls on Saturday's episode.

Before he was signed with Roc Nation and topping charts with his debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story, 17-year-old Jermaine Cole was still trying to find his hip-hop identity. And on this week's episode of "When I Was 17," North Carolina native J. Cole reveals some of his rather interesting pre-fame stage names.

"When I was 17, I had been rapping for what, five years, at that point," Cole reveals on Saturday's show, which airs at 11 a.m. ET on MTV. "There was a local group named Bomb Shelter that had been mentoring me since I was 14 years old."

And it was Bomb Shelter that really got J. Cole thinking about a catchy rap name. "One [group member] was Nervous Reck and the other was Filthy Ritch. I was like man, 'Those are the most creative rap names I ever heard. I need a rap name like that!' " Cole recalls.

So the budding rapper did what any smart guy would do — he hit the books.

"We used to look through the dictionary for rap names," he says, "I could never find nothing. One day these dudes [Bomb Shelter] were like, 'Yo, we got a name for you, it's Therapist,' " he said.

While J. Cole wasn't entirely feeling the name, he decided to test it out with the help of his mentors. His friend, Nervous Reck, thought Cole could make it work by playing up the doctor angle. "I was like maybe it could work, you just gotta play on the whole doctor image and being therapeutic and your music is therapeutic," Nervous Reck explains on the episode.

So Cole rocked with the moniker Therapist for a while, figuring his mentors knew better than he did about these matters.

"A few years later, I realized Therapist sounded like a wrestler's name," Cole laughs. "You know, like an alias. It didn't feel real."

So he ditched Therapist and adopted J. Cole. "J. Cole felt like my real name. That was a real natural fit. It didn't feel like I was trying to be anything."

We think his fans would agree: Therapist World just doesn't have the same ring to it.

"When I Was 17" — this week featuring J. Cole, Robyn and Chad Michael Murray — airs on Saturday at 11a.m ET/PT on MTV.

'Snow White And The Huntsman': What We Know So Far

We take a look back at how this Kristen Stewart/ Charlize Theron fractured fairy tale came to be.
By Kevin P. Sullivan

After what has seemed like a very long wait, we finally have the first trailer for "Snow White and the Huntsman." The trailer's insane visuals won over movie fans when it premiered Thursday, and anticipation for the June 1 release is higher than ever before.

But it's important to remember how we got to this point. "Snow White and the Huntsman" traveled a long road filled with casting rumors, on-set injuries and rival productions, and as we celebrate the release of the trailer, let's take a look back at everything that's happened up until this point:

Casting Calls
For a long time, "Snow White and the Huntsman" was centered on the casting of Charlize Theron as Ravenna and Viggo Mortensen as the Huntsman, but even before then, talk had involved Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie. Negotiations to get Mortensen into the picture eventually broke down. Kristen Stewart joined the equation soon afterward. Eventually, Chris Hemsworth got the nod, giving us the cast we see today.

Rival Projects
You've most likely heard by now, but we are in the midst of a full-out Snow White war. Two productions based on the classic fairy tale are slated to hit theaters next year, within three months of each other, nonetheless. Though the recently titled "Mirror, Mirror," starring Lily Collins and Julia Roberts, will be aimed at a much younger audience, according to director Tarsem Singh, such closely related projects are bound to draw comparisons. Earlier in development, the struggle came down to which movie would make it out of the gate first, the win ultimately going to "Mirror, Mirror," which hits in March. We'll just have to see which Snow White is the fairest of them all.

The Injury
A single tweet from "SWATH" co-star Max Manganello set off a wave of panic among Kristen Stewart fans. "It's a wrap for today. Kristen has hurt herself ... nothing scary. We shoot on Friday," the tweet read, but that was enough to set the Internet abuzz with rumors about the injury. In the end, it came out that Stewart had torn a ligament during a fight scene with the dwarves. Luckily, Stewart recovered, and filming wrapped without incident.

Check out everything we've got on "Snow White and the Huntsman."

Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj And Ke$ha 'Till The World Ends' Remix Leaks

Reworked tune features an opening verse by Minaj as Ke$ha sings atop Spears' vocals throughout the song.

Britney Spears isn't the only pop titan dancing until the world ends: Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha have joined forces to add a new spin on an all-female remix of Femme Fatale's second single, "Till the World Ends."

The reworked dance anthem, which leaked online Friday (April 22), appears to have surfaced earlier than expected as noted by a series of countdowns on all three of the stars' websites.

Mixing the dance tune's original sonic swirls with heavier bass, Britney tourmate Minaj starts off the remix by throwing down an aggressive verse, in which she calls out a female hater: "A-A-A-A-A-AYE!/ Chimpanzees is hatin', but I take it all in stride/ Put her in a jungle with bananas on the side/ Told you they'd revive your career, but somebody lied/ I ain't talkin' poultry when I say this chicken's fried."

After Minaj spits a few introductory bars, Spears delivers the song's first verse before an introduction for the all-star trio. "It's Britney, bitch. I'm Nicki Minaj and that's Ke$ha!" the Young Money MC proclaims.

Ke$ha, who originally wrote the track for the pop princess, takes part in singing the club-ready track's chorus. Spears soon takes back control of the song as Ke$ha shadows the singer's lines toward the end of the second verse and bridge. Unlike the original version, the "Till the World Ends" remix also features a stuttering dubstep dance break.

News of a star-studded collaboration was hinted earlier this week when producer Dr. Luke tweeted, "@NICKIMINAJ killed it tonight!!!! thanks!!!"
