It's prom season, and that means high schoolers across this great land will be renting tuxes, buying fancy dresses and negotiating the details of their curfews with parents. So, before you take your pictures and get in your limos, we asked some Hollywood A-listers to recall their fondest prom memories.

"I had a great prom," Ne-Yo told MTV News. "I didn't get to go with who I wanted to go with. I got my second choice, but my second choice turned out to be the one I was supposed to be there with, so it turned out good."

Ke$ha, never one to say no to a party, had the best night of all her friends. "I went to prom with my gay best friend, and let me tell you, I had way more fun than anybody else at a prom with their boyfriends," she recalled. "Everybody else was, like, crying and drama and breaking up, and me and my gay best friend just danced until 8 a.m."

"Hellcats" star Aly Michalka doesn't have a favorite prom memory — because she never went to prom. "I was homeschooled, so I don't even think we had a fake prom," she lamented. "Like, maybe we had a home-school prom and I wasn't invited?"

While everything always seems to be in peril on "The Vampire Diaries," star Nina Dobrev had a less tumultuous night: "Having everyone get together and such a final celebration [is what I remember]."

Romeo went big for his prom. "My senior prom, I remember I pulled up in my red Ferrari. I was feeling like James Bond," he said. "And it was one of the best nights of my life."

"My favorite prom memory was probably going shopping for a dress, and our boyfriends at the time dressed up as 'Dumb & Dumber,' " Audrina Patridge laughed. "And so we were like, 'We can't dress up dorky ... we have to look good.' "

Roots drummer ?uestlove made a big decision on the night of his prom: "June 2, 1989, was my very last haircut; prom haircut, totally butchered my hair. He butchered my hair, and I vowed never again to ever get in a barber chair, so I grew that Afro on my prom night."

Adam Lambert said his prom date was a 10, so he definitely had a fun night. "I had a great prom. I had an awesome time," he said. "I went with one of my best friends in high school. Her name was Lauren, and she was really hot. She wore a really hot red dress, so I felt like I had arm candy."

Heavy D Was An 'Icon,' Red Cafe Says

'He was just a big dude with swag, and then you seen Biggie follow suit and you see Rick Ross follow suit,' he tells MTV News.

Red Café may have only met Heavy D a few months before his death, but the Overweight Lover remained an inspiration to the Bad Boy rapper.

"I gotta tip my hat, raise my glass to Heavy D for paving the way for me to be able to do this," Red told MTV News during MTV2's Sucker Free Awards in Miami last week. "Heavy D was instrumental on me being a part of hip-hop. The Overweight Lover brought the swag to the game, so for me, it was a great loss for me."

The fallen rapper was close friends with Bad Boy founder Diddy; their relationship dates back to their days at Uptown Records, where Puff interned back in the early 1990s. "I got a chance to meet Heavy D at Puff's house a few months ago, and he knew who I was," Red Café shared. "Heavy D knew who I was. He was like, 'Yo, dog I've been hearin' about you, I've been watching your movement,' and, you know, that was so inspiring for me, 'cause I grew up on Heavy D."

Through his music, Heavy D embraced his physical stature. Songs like "The Overweight Lover," "Mr. Big Stuff" and his 1991 dance hit "Now That We Found Love" helped brand the rapper as not only a hitmaker, but a sex symbol as well. It was a blueprint that many rappers after him followed.

"He was just a big dude with swag, and then you seen Biggie follow suit and you see Rick Ross follow suit, so Heavy D is instrumental in the game and very important," Red said. "He's an icon, and I salute him. Rest in peace. He's in a better place, and you know we love you. Your music will live forever, believe that."

There was a public viewing for the fallen rapper Thursday at Grace Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, New York, and a private funeral service for family and close friends is set for Friday (November 18). BET is planning a special tribute to Heavy D during November 27's Soul Train Awards. Rappers Big Daddy Kane, Doug E. Fresh, Curtis Blow, Naughty by Nature, Whodini and Stetsasonic's Daddy-O are all said to be taking part.

How has Heavy D inspired you? Tell us in the comments.

Ke$ha Wants 'Till The World Ends' Remix To 'Take Over Airwaves'

Earlier this week, Britney Spears, Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj dropped their femme-fatale-friendly remix of the Spears club track "Till the World Ends." The already fun song got super-charged thanks to Minaj's cutting verses and Ke$ha's recognizable vocals.

"I'm a massive fan of both the ladies I share the track with," K told MTV News on Wednesday at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards. "I wrote 'TTWE' for Britney with [producers] Dr. Luke and Max [Martin] and she killed it and I loved it, but I just thought a supergroup of three hot, strong women could just take over the airwaves."

Ke$ha went on to give props to both the ladies. "I'm such a massive fan of Britney and I'm such a massive supporter of Nicki and a fan, and chicks sometimes don't team up. I don't know why, but I'm, like, huge on the girl power, so I just wanted to make a power girl track take over."

The remix quickly won praise from fans who seem to think the new features step up the song's game. "You know, with the three of us, I wasn't necessarily surprised [people like it] because I'm such a massive fan of Nicki Minaj and obviously with Britney I'm a fan of it, [taking] myself out of the equation," she said. "I'm just happy people like it."

So did Ke$ha (who once sang backup for Spears) feel any pressure writing a song for Britney? "There was no pressure. Writing for somebody else is really fun 'cause I consider myself a songwriter first and foremost," she explained. "So it was so much fun to put my brain in the sexy Britney Spears brain and express myself almost as if I were possessed by her."

Kendra Wilkinson Offers Tempered Praise For Lindsay Lohan Nude

Kendra Wilkinson has thought a lot about it, but at the end of the day, supports Lindsay Lohan's desire to pose nude in Playboy. After all, how can she judge?

“She always came off like a girl that would do Playboy so I am not really surprised,” the 26-year-old K-Dubs said of Lindsay's decision to go full frontal.

“She is almost like a hippie type of girl.”

That's one way of putting it ...

Lindsay Lohan Hangs OutAn Annoying Laugh

"I am so back and forth about it,” the Kendra star said of Lindsay in Playboy, where she'll be channeling Marilyn Monroe. “The one thing that I can say is that in this day and age, if you have a way to make that kind of money, then go ahead.”

Mixed, but generally positive feelings from Kendra then.

She does make a valid point. A million dollars for four days of work? That looks pretty good on any balance sheet, even if it means showing the vadge of courage.

Besides, Lindsay Lohan's got a lot of bills these days.

“If that’s what’s going to bail her ass out of jail, I mean, go for it. You never know. She could need the money to bail herself out,” Kendra hilariously added.

Breaking Dawn Review: Light on Action, Heavy on Heart

Let's face it: you are going to see Breaking Dawn. It doesn't really matter if every critic give it a worse grade than Jack & Jill. It's really only a matter of how many times you attend a showing this weekend, not whether or not you choose to do so.

Still, what sort of expectations should you have for Edward and Bella's big day? Will it meet expectations?

Yes, says our friend, Joel Amos, of Movie Fanatic.

The wedding scene is a beauty to behold," he writes, adding that "fans will be all sorts of a twitter" as they watch this beloved couple exchange vows.

Taylor Lautner, meanwhile, "excels in capturing a man," someone truly coming in to his own, both physically and emotionally, while "living at a crossroads" due to his unrequited love for Bella.

Don't expect much action in this second-to-last installment of the franchise, but true Twihards will be happy that Breaking Dawn remains true to the book and to Stephenie Meyer's's vision.

HEAD OVER TO MOVIE FANATIC NOW AND READ THIS REVIEW IN FULL!
